Private Label Aromatherapy and Animal Massage was started out of a curiosity to learn about the use of essential oils after receiving a complimentary bottle of Peppermint essential oil. I did not know how to use the oil and began my quest for knowledge. The more I learned the more I wanted to know. After a few months of reading every book I could find on essential oils, I found the Australasian College of Health Sciences.

I began my education at the Australasian College of Health Sciences with the Introduction to Aromatherapy program. I learned the basics; studying 18 essential oils. This program set the ground work for understanding how to purchase therapeutic grade essential oils, how to effectively and safely use essential oils and understanding the importance of the contraindications of individual oils. I completed this program and had a desire to learn more, I immediately enrolled in the Certificate in Aromatherapy program. in this program I continued to build on my prior education, studying 42 more essential oils. During this time we got a twelve week old chocolate lab puppy, Louise. Louise followed me everywhere and began showing an interest in my essential oils. She began stealing test strips off the edge of the table while doing my lab work. I allowed her to experiment and took special notes of her reactions to different oils. She became a large part of my homework assignments. I began formulating more products for her than myself. Private Label Aromatherapy Canine line of products was born.

The best way to apply aromatherapy products is through massage so I began seeking a credible animal massage school. I completed my Canine Massage Therapy program through Equissage of Roundhill VA in 2004. Many of my canine clients owners are horse people who kept asking when I was going to be certified to work on their horses too. So when the time was right, I spent a week at Equissage NE NY in Conneticut, where I earned my Equine Sports Massage Therapist certification.

Initially I just wanted to mix my own scents and eliminate the awful fragrance filled toxic store products from my life. Many of them made me sneeze and caused congestion; still do when I am around someone using these nasty products. With my essential oil knowledge and finding a company to supply me with vegan, organic and toxin free lines of unscented personal care products I was able to develop my own scents and control what is going onto and into my body.

I began to experiment and use these products and people around me started asking questions and wanting to purchase my custom blended products for their animals and themselves. The requests began coming in, I began formulating products out of necessity from people with a need for specific products they were unable to find or trust.

My product line continues to grow and all products are still made with the best therapeutic grade essential oils and organic ingredients when available.

I continue to study aromatherapy and am working on a feline and equine lines of products. I am trying to keep up with client demands and their animals needs. I want to thank everyone who uses my products and my massage services. I also want to thank all the store owners who carry my products and help to make

Private Label Aromatherapy and Animal Massage a success.
